When a Baby is Left Alone . . .
Take note, that when a baby is left alone for too long, this can happen! Tissue all over the floor!!! Yes, it took me a while to get all that back in the box neatly! Did I learn my lesson??? Maybe :-)
Happy Birthday Costa Rica!
These are some pics from a parade that the kids took part in to celebrate Costa Rica's Independence Day. They did such a good job and they were so cute! Happy Birthday Costa Rica!!!!
Look What We Did!
I know, I know, I am really, really behind on posting :-( The second trimester of language school has started and it has been a little bit overwhelming. I will try to do better from now on :-)
Here are some snapshots of Samuel and Iva's artwork on the front of our house. Cohen and I were inside talking to Rosa and apparently they took advantage of the fact that Daddy and Mommy were talking and not paying too much attention to what was going on outside. Things got really quiet outside, so I went to see what they were up to and that is when I saw them with little sticks in their hands. They were using the sticks as little paint brushes to paint mud on the wall. What can I say, when the parents are away the kiddos will play!
Cohen came out and suggested that they clean up their mess all by themselves so . . . Cohen brought out a bowl of water and a scrub brush and put them to work! I think they enjoyed the clean up just as much as the mess up!!

Safety in Downtown San Jose, Costa Rica
Here is a short video clip of a skit Cohen and two other friends, Mark and Brian, did during the new student orientation at our language school. Mark is the really big guy :-) Cohen and I agree that Mark probably could have handled Cohen on his own! Don't you think so?
The skits that are done during orientation are always so funny and Cohen was asked if he would be willing to be in one for the new students coming in. Of course he said, "yes". I don't know if you will get as much of a kick out of it as we did, but I hope you will get at least a little laugh out of it.
I started videoing a little late, but I think it still turned out okay. I was also holding Levi on my hip, so it isn't the best camera job :-)
To give you a little info about the skit . . . this is supposed to be a security video taken in downtown San Jose to show an example of what can happen to you if you aren't careful. I hope you can hear Dick in the background; he is the one narrating the video. In the skit, the "security video" is slowed down once to let you get a better look at what actually took place, and then it is slowed down a second time to let you get an even better look. Pay close attention! And, be careful when visiting downtown San Jose!!!
