On Christmas Day we got together with the Farleys to celebrate Jesus' birth and fellowship together. Just like Thanksgiving, we had a great time. Here are some pictures from our visit with them. We also got to spend some time with their oldest daughter, Meredith. She is spending her holidays here before returning to college in Texas. It has been fun spending time with her again; we first met her when she was about 10 years old :-)

More Christmas Pics
Okay, so all the pictures didn't upload with the last post so here are the rest of the pics that were supposed to upload with it.
Christmas Time
Here are a few pictures from Christmas. Samuel helped me make some cookies for our neighbors. We made a cake and sang happy birthday to Jesus. And the kids each got some special gifts from Papa and BeBee, Granddaddy and Marnie, Great PapPaw and us. Not to mention all of the sweet Christmas cards that were sent to them and us.
This may have been our first Christmas away from all of our families, but it has been a very special one. Thanks to each and everyone of you for your thoughts and prayers. We hope that your Christmas was a very special one too. No matter where you are in the world, celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior is a very wonderful thing. That is what makes it special to us :-) I hope that is what made it special to you.
I says "i" as in Iguana
No, this isn't a phonics lesson. I just thought it would make a cute title to my post :-)
Cohen was out in our front yard playing with the kids one afternoon when he spotted this guy walking around in the grass. We of course had to grab the camera and get some good shots of him. You might not be very fond of iguanas, but as The Crocodile Hunter would say, "Isn't he a beauty!".
Big Bed Story Time
Here is a picture I thought you might like. It is a picture of the kids during "Big Bed Story Time". They all love to have a story read to them before bed and reading a story to each of them takes time. So . . . Cohen came up with "Big Bed Story Time" for them. It is a time where they all grab their pillows and head to Daddy and Mommy's "big bed" for a story. Each night, another child gets a chance to pick the story that Daddy or Mommy will read. They love this time and they get so excited. And, it is good for us too, because now instead of reading three different books each night we only need to read one.

Early Christmas Present
Got Mail?
Cohen went to check our P.O. Box last week and came back home with some Christmas cards for each of us. We were all excited to open them and see who they were from. To our surprise each of them played music when we opened them and some of them even had lights that lit up. Oh, it was so much fun to see the smiles on the kids faces and to watch them dance to the music. I hope they have good batteries in them because they are going to be put to the test in this house. So far they are still making us smile :-) Thank you Granddaddy and Marnie!
Pre-Schooler
Here are some precious pictures of one of my future students :-) He looks just right sitting there doesn't he!
Cutest Couple Ever!
With all of the pics of the adorable kiddos you see on this blog you hardly ever get to see the adorable couple that is behind it all. (Boy, that sounded proud didn't it!) Only kidding about us being adorable and all, but in all honesty I do think that we do make a cute couple (Cohen mostly) :-) Anyway, I thought I would share this cute pic that we took while on one of our date nights a couple of weeks ago. I sure do love that guy!!

More Beach Pictures
Here are some more cute pics (that I promised a while back) from our trip with Granddaddy and Marnie to Placencia, Belize. This time I actually included a picture of Granddaddy and Marnie. I realized that I forgot to do that in the first beach post.

Nathanael is 7 Months Old
Nathanael turned 7 months old this week. He is just as sweet as ever and of course adorable. He has two little teeth on the bottom and is working on sitting up. He still needs a little help, but I am sure he will master it in no time! He is such a joy and a blessing to our family. We all love him so much and are so thankful for him. He never fails to bring a smile to our faces :-)
Sleeping Like a Baby
Here is another shot of Nathanael sleeping in one of those "comfortable" positions I often find him in.
A Belize Chirstmas
Just a few pics to show you our Christmas decorations. We brought the lights, the star and the little wooden nativity with us when we moved here, the stockings are from Granddaddy and Marnie, and the beautiful runner on our china cabinet is from our friends David and Glynis Miller. They brought it from Guatemala when they came to visit us. Turn on a little Christmas music and the mood is right! Who needs cold weather!!!

Thanksgiving - Belize 2009
Here are some shots from our Thanksgiving celebration. We got together with two other missionary families, The Farleys (Bob, Rhonda and Hannah) and the Mulvihills (Jim, Jan and Janelle). I must say that the meal was better than any Thanksgiving meal I have ever had! Don't get me wrong, I have had plenty of delicious Thanksgiving meals, but that was in the States and when you live in the States you eat like that often, or at least more often than here. It was so yummy!
