A Touch of Purple to Brighten Your Day

I just felt like it was time for a touch of purple.  It has been a while since I have posted any pictures of our baby girl.  Thanks for the pictures Marnie :-)

I Spy Something . . .

DSCN0358

This isn’t’ the best picture but it was the best one I had for what I am about to ask you.  Take a good look at little man’s teeth . . . Did you notice anything a little unusual?  If so, you probably noticed that he has an extra tooth!  Yep, an extra tooth!  Crazy, I know, but true none the less.

We noticed it coming in and couldn’t hardly believe it.  And, if you weren’t looking for it, you may never even notice it.  It fits in perfectly; looks like it should have always been there.  I just hope it doesn’t give him any problems down the road and hopefully it will just fall out when he looses his baby teeth.  I have been doing some internet research since we first noticed it coming in and I have found that an extra tooth is pretty common it seems.

By the way, this is a picture of Nathanael with a watermelon face!  Just a little fun with face paint compliments of his daddy :-)

Somebody Please Shoot the Rooster!

Can you believe that one of these Rooster

Can do this to a child P1060698

Well, its very true!  In fact, several nights a week poor little Nathanael wakes up screaming because of some crazy rooster crowing his little red head off at some crazy hour!  I am kind of getting annoyed with our little feathered friend’s messed up clock.  And, our sweet baby is suffering because of it!   I am not one for animal cruelty, but I have had some thoughts.  At least I haven’t acted on any as of yet!

1st Grade Milestones

I have been doing a terrible job at blogging here lately, but here I am again.  I am so excited to share with you that Samuel has finished 3 books in the past 2 weeks.  Not only that, but he read one of them in just one sitting!  I couldn’t believe it, he just kept going!  Since he has been reading so much lately we are now about 3 weeks ahead of schedule on reading!  Wow, great job Samuel!!!

Here are some pics of his accomplishments . . .
