I feel so bad that I am just now posting these pictures. Levi's birthday was about 2 1/2 weeks ago on May 7th (the same day Nathanael was born). We decided that we would have a small celebration for him about a week before his actual birthday since Nathanael was due to arrive so soon. He had a special little party complete with family, food, fruit (he had three small plates of fruit), cake, ice cream and of course presents. As we were singing "Happy Birthday" to him he started smiling and began dancing in his little booster seat. Just as we were finishing the song he tried to blow out the candles (which was mostly slobber) and before anyone realized it he reached out his little hand and put his finger right on the candle flame :-( This of course was followed with lots of crying and a little blister on his finger. Poor little guy, burned his sweet little finger on his own birthday candles. I'm sure that isn't what he wished for as he was getting ready to blow out those candles.
Every now and then he would fuss a little about his finger, but the presents did help get his mind off of the pain a little bit. I think he had a good day even though he had a sore finger. He was so tired he could hardly wait to get into his bed and take a nap. By the way, I forgot to mention that he now takes his naps in a "BIG BOY BED"!!! He sure is growing up, turning 2 and sleeping in a big bed. Way to go little man :-) We love you so much and are so thankful for every single day of these past two years that the Lord has blessed us with you. We look forward to being blessed with many more! You are such a joy and a blessing to our family :-) Happy 2nd Birthday Levi Biscuit!!!
