A Day Off

The Farleys asked us if we would like to join them this past Friday on a trip to the swimming pool at Big Falls Lodge.  Of course we said yes!  Big Falls Lodge is a family owned place that has some rooms for rent and also a pool.  One really cool thing is that you don't have to be staying in a room to use the pool.  They charge a small fee for the use of their pool, but it is reasonable.  We were the only people there that day so we had the pool all to ourselves.  What a treat!  We had a great time and would have stayed even longer, but we had some pretty tired kiddos.  On the ride back home they fell asleep in Hannah's lap :-)  I hope this is a place that we can retreat to often to "cool" our heals (and everything else) and let the kids splash around.  It was a really refreshing outing and we are so thankful for it!!
