Potty Training Day 4

I am behind on posting this.  Sorry for the delay but this is the first chance I have had to sit down at the computer. Yada, yada, yada . . .

 

Okay, so day 4 went great overall, but started out kind of funny.  I'm not sure what was going on with him, but it seemed as though he had lost his spark.  He wasn't happy when I wanted him to go to the potty and therefore it was a bit difficult to actually get him to go.  It felt like a battle of the wills so to speak.  Whenever he told me that he needed to go however, he did great.  Maybe I just need to let him tell me from now on.  I am still trying to figure out what works best for him.  If he can tell me that he needs to go without forgetting then more power to him.  I would love that because that would mean that he is really getting this potty business.

 

So, anyway, that was what the morning was like.  Still no accidents and the afternoon and evening went beautifully.  We made it through the whole day without one single accident!  Once again, this is a huge improvement from our first attempt at this.  I think I counted about 12 pair of underwear that he went through on day one of our first attempt a few months back.  Crazy, huh!!!

 

As I type this we are already half way done with Day 5, but I will leave that for another email.  I must say thought that it has been a great day so far!  :-)  Daddy and Mommy are happy and Levi is happy too!  And, Iva has been cheering him on all week :-)  She only stepped in tee tee once this week, yeah!!! It is all just part of it I guess.  At least we have tile floors which is perfect for clean up.
