Ginger Bread House + High Humidity

Have you ever wondered what might happen to a ginger bread house left over the weekend in a very humid climate???  Probably not, but I am going to give you an idea.  While Granddaddy and Marnie were here, Marnie made a ginger bread house with the kiddos.  Well, as you know, we went to Placencia for the weekend and when we returned home we found a melting ginger bread house.  I didn't know peppermint could do that!  Well, we had no choice but to . . . you guessed it . . . eat it!!!  After we had supper that night we had ginger bread house for dessert and it was so yummy :-)  We couldn't eat too much of it though or we would have all had tummy aches for about a week!

Thank you so much Gee-Gee for sending the ginger bread house kit with Granddaddy and Marnie.  The kids had a blast putting it together and taking it apart :-)
