Granddaddy and Marnie (Cohen's Dad and Mom) came to visit us for a week and we ended their stay by taking them on a little getaway to Placencia. It is only about a 2 1/2 hour drive from Punta Gorda, and we heard that it is beautiful, so we thought it would be a nice little trip for all of us. We also had a little extra desire to get away because we had just celebrated 9 years of marriage together and Granddaddy and Marnie had just celebrated 35 years!!! That sounds like a good reason to go to the beach :-)
We not only had a great weekend before they headed back home, but we also had a great week with them too. I will post some pictures of our beach trip on this post and probably a few more beach pictures on another post and then will try to post some more pics of their stay with us. I have so many good ones and if you are like me, you will enjoy them too :-)

These pics are so beautiful!! Great job! I know you enjoyed our time together so very much. We are savoring or time with Miriam and Mike...right now "dividely" watching the GA Auburn football game...a little competition :)
