Brotherly Love
I’m glad I was able to grab the camera in time to capture these moments. Times like these, I want to remember and cherish forever. *Please excuse the messiness of our bed :-)

Homemade Play Dough
We had fun on Friday. After learning in our Science book that you can actually make play dough from flour, salt, oil and water, we tried it out. Well, I have known that you can do it, but never really tried. While they were finishing up their school work I set to work trying out a recipe that I have had for a while, but never used. I even put some food coloring in it so that they could each have a different color. I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to make and how well it turned out. They had so much fun playing with it and I had just as much fun watching them and playing along too.
Iva Lost Her 1st Tooth!
That’s right! Iva lost her first tooth just a few months after Samuel started losing his. She was so excited! It had been loose for a few weeks and one morning this week when Cohen was brushing her teeth, it just came right out!
Advent
Thanks to Granddaddy and Marnie we have our very own Advent Calendar this Christmas season.
The children have been enjoying taking turns each day to help create the Nativity seen. You may be wondering why they didn’t start off in the manger? Well, Joseph and Mary had to travel first of course! Don’t worry, they will make it to the manger in time for baby Jesus to be born :-)

Back to Blogging
I apologize for being away from my blog for so long. Truth is, it has been kind of busy around here. Excuses, excuses, I know what you are thinking. But, hey, at least I am finally posting something!
Here are some pictures that I have been wanting to share, but haven’t had much time to get them on here.
Neddy and his brother Dominic wanted me to take some pictures of them doing back flips. These boys are pros at flipping around. I have no idea how they can move around like that! It’s fun to watch them and they eat up the attention.
When Pastor Todd from Grace Covenant Church in Birmingham came to visit us in October, this is what he brought with him. Thank you Pastor Todd and Grace Covenant!
“Mommy, can I do my school work?”, asks Levi. He loves to do his school work with Samuel and Iva. He has been learning his letters, numbers and colors.
Samuel playing marbles with a local pastor and friend that was visiting with Cohen.
