Hanging Out with the Kids on the Street

Be sure to notice the homemade kite that Samuel is flying.  Some boys made it using sticks and a plastic shopping bag. 

These pictures are fun to look at and no doubt they made you smile, but please remember these children in your prayers.  We are pretty sure that none of them have a father at home and I know for sure that at least one of them hardly has a mother at home.  In fact, I found one of these little boys outside in the street one night angry and crying because his older sister didn’t want him staying with her and he didn’t want to go home to his mother.  A very sad situation and it broke my heart.  So many children here don’t know what it is like to really be loved.
